Hi!
Summer is here, although you might not recognize it. It's foggy and almost raining today. The flowers love it, and I love it. I'm bundled in a scarf and jacket.
Today I went to two local organic farms (Wavelegnth Farm and Roseman Creek Ranch) to pick up flowers for this weeks orders. Blushing lanterns, hot orange lilies, David Austen roses, snapdragons, alstrameria, the first few dahlias, and even a few zinnias, some eucalyptus, smokebush, wheat.
I visit with my farmer friends, I usually get a little tour and we get excited about what's going to bloom next, hang out with the dogs, etc.
I love my life here on the coast, the community, the soil, the weather, my Customers, I even love driving around and doing home deliveries. It's such a beautiful road and NO stop signs or stoplights in my day. Just a cool serene view of the coast.
I have a few small weddings coming up. It's so exciting being a part of someone's special day.
I just love it. Going to make hand bouquets for graduation now!
